The successful candidate will work as an integral part of our interdisciplinary team within a model of care based on the principles of te whare tapa wha.
Applicants must have a relevant tertiary level qualification and be a full member of NZAC (or equivalent body). The successful candidate will be working with people experiencing serious illness, dying, complex grief, loss and bereavement. Experience in this area is highly desirable but people with transferrable skills will be considered.
Hospice offers incredibly rewarding work in a progressive, quality focussed environment, where the staff make a very meaningful difference to patients’, families and whanau lives. Ongoing training, formal education and supervision is a priority in order for us to meet the changing complex needs of our population.
This role will require some travel within the Otago region, therefore a current driver’s licence is essential.
