HAW Generates Good Engagement
We had a story in the ODT that summed up the issues and the ask for Government to sustainably fund hospices:

As well as national coverage on TV One News:

And Radio New Zealand:

Locally The Star also covered the awards won by our nursing team, which also got excellent engagement on our Facebook page:

Ginny was interviewed by Jeff Harford on Oar Radio's morning show:

While Tina was on 'Spinning Yarns with Sian' on Radio One where she talked about hospice and her experiences in Wales fundraising and working with the Government:

We had super online engagement through our social media channels and Allied Press QR code print ads sponsored by our amazing corporate supporters. We also took over the ODT website for two days which drove lots of traffic to our website, and did a direct mail appeal to our regular givers. All of this helped to encourage some above and beyond donations from our generous donors, some of which are still coming in now. We had a great response to our revamped donation page on our website. The total donations received during HAW this year was $28,914, with more expected. This is considerably more than last year.
Thank you to everyone who shared our content, posed for a photo or otherwise got involved. It all makes a big difference.
