Thrilled Tournament Able to Go Ahead
Hosted by Otago Golf Course, the inaugural tournament teed off on Friday 10 December 2021 and raised a whooping $14,000 for Otago Community Hospice, with 18 teams participating in the event.
The event was low key, fun and enabled all levels of players to join in for the 9 hole Ambrose format.
It was a fantastic day out, so much so that next years date has already been locked in - 9th December 2022.
The tournament was well-supported by local businesses including Marlow Pies Café and Meenans Liquorland/Euro Vintage who provided the beverage and food for the "The Edinburgh Realty Wine & Cheese Tent” which was situated in the middle of the course.
Other support for the event came from Buster Green Food Room, Cableways, Cooke Howlison BMW, Fishmob, Joseph Jones Floral Design, GROOM, Latitude Homes, Larnach Castle, Kenzie on George, North Otago Golf Club, OCHO, Otago Daily Times, Poshtel Oamaru, Steampunk HQ, Unichem Knox Pharmacy, Wanaka Golf Club and 9Round Dunedin.
