Bounty of Prizes Proves Hard to Resist
The Annual Christmas Trailer Raffle, run by the Rotary Club of Dunedin South and supported by Mitre 10 MEGA Dunedin , has raised an incredible $28,500! With a fantastic bounty of prizes worth more than $18,000, raffle tickets sold like hotcakes.
This is the sixth year Mitre 10 Mega Dunedin and their supplier community have partnered with Rotary Club of South Dunedin, creating a raffle that is a firm community favourite and a significant contributor to Otago Community Hospice’s annual fundraising target of $3 million.
We are so very grateful to Mitre 10 Mega for their support, for the community’s support via the hundreds of volunteers who put their hand up to sell tickets and the thousands of people who buy tickets.
Special mention to this years 1st prize winner Shane Maaka, of Save Money Skips, who sold the trailer on Marketplace for $4000 and then donated it to Otago Hospice. Amazing!
