One-off Volunteer Projects

Over the year we have volunteers who come along as a group and do a one off project (like the team pictured - from Otago University - distributing wood chips on the Hospice garden).  

We have a variety of organisations who are keen to help us (for example, we had a couple of volunteers from Cooke Howlison help out at the Vogel Street Shop on Monday as part of National Volunteer Week).  This can be great team building for staff, and it certainly is great for us! Not sure how we would have shifted 10 cubic metres of wood chips with the small team of regular garden volunteers.
