A BIG Thank You to our Kitchen Volunteers

A big thank you to the team of 43 kitchen volunteers who cover the evening meals for patients, as well as providing some support during the day, working alongside our cooks Rose and Alison. The main shift in the kitchen is 5pm-7:30pm where volunteers prepare and serve a light meal to patients (the main meal of the day is served at lunch time). It can be a challenge to know how busy things will be in the evening for volunteers - it could be as simple as serving ice cream and jelly to one patient, or as busy as serving six meals. So we are grateful for this crew's amazing flexibility!
