It's a Boy!

"Kia ora! After a dramatic 18-hour labour we welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Pewa Tūārangi Leith Barber, into the world last night (Saturday 7th Dec) at 11.45 pm. Bubs weighed in at a nice ordinary 7.99 pounds. We're all doing great and are just so happy.

For the name context pewa is an arc or crescent shape, tūārangi means 'from afar'. Leith is the name of a river in Scotland where Griffs tūpuna lived, the name was carried over to Dunedin in the early settler days too."
