Farmers Christmas Campaign
From the 16th of November until Christmas Eve, limited-edition Baubles will are available to purchase in-store or online for *$15.99.
We are absolutely delighted that Farmers New Zealand are partnering with Hospices throughout New Zealand once again, for what will be the 10th year of the Farmers Christmas Bauble and Trees of Remembrance campaign.
*The cost of the bauble has not increased in 10 years. Unfortunately, the manufacturing, materials and shipping costs have all increased in the last year which has meant we had to increase the selling price. The proceeds from the full value of the bauble sales are all passed on to Hospice to enable the great work to continue.
This year the bauble depicts the iconic red flowers of the pohutukawa, which blooms each year around Christmas, earning it the name "New Zealand's Christmas Tree". It is a special symbol of summer found only here in Aotearoa.
Alongside the sale of the baubles are the Christmas Trees of Remembrance – an opportunity for families to remember a loved one by writing a message in a card and hanging it on the tree, whilst making a donation to their local Hospice. In Otago, we have Farmers stores in Oamaru and Dunedin.
We invite you to watch this video to find out more about the Christmas Baubles and the Trees of Remembrance.
